"Napoleon"

5/29/1998 - 12/27/2006

Bred by: Catherine O. Cooper, Shadetree GSMD

Napoleon was a magnificent boy.  He had a love of life that showed in everything he did.  He was my first show dog.  He was my first weight pull dog.  He will forever have a piece of my heart.

Napoleon Best of Breed Louisville, March 2000

Napoleon's show career was short, but full of exciting moments.  Together, we managed to get into the Top 10 for the breed in 2000.  After a few years of showing, he decided it wasn't fun anymore so we quietly retired him.  His legacy lives on through his son, Alex.

Napoleon pulling 2555 lbs

While showing was put on the back burner, weight pulling was always his passion.  He loved to pull and even became a top competitor during his day.

This picture was taken the year before he died and is one of the last pictures I have of him.  I will forever remember him this way: Strong, alert and happy.
